ANZSBT Travel Grants

To be eligible for these travel grants of up to $1000 each, applicants must be current financial members of ANZSBT, must submit an abstract and apply for the grant during submission, and register for the Meeting by 29 May 2024. The ANZSBT Council will decide on the grant awardees. Applicants will be informed of the outcome by the ANZSBT Secretariat 4 weeks before the Meeting.

South East Asia/ Pacific Island Travel Grants to BLOOD 2024

The Australian and New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion (ANZSBT) is offering a grant to assist persons from resource poor countries in the South-East Asia region or Pacific Island nations to attend BLOOD 2024, the combined annual scientific meetings of ANZSBT, Haematology Society of Australian and New Zealand (HSANZ) and Thrombosis and the Haemostasis Society of Australia and New Zealand (THANZ).

This award is kindly sponsored by the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)

The award is open to residents of resource poor countries in the South East Asia region or Pacific Island nations who are actively working in any area of blood transfusion in a medical, scientific, nursing or administration capacity.

The grant covers airfares, accommodation and free registration to the conference which will all be arranged by ANZSBT and the conference organising company.

Applications close 29 May 2024.
