THANZ GRANTS

THANZ offers a series of 6 travel grants each year to provide financial assistance to members to attend Blood, one is in memory of John Lloyd. The grants will be awarded to the authors of the top 6 abstracts submitted to the THANZ stream at Blood. Entrants must be financial members of THANZ and must apply for the grant during abstract submission. The Grants, of up to $1,000, are awarded in advance of the meeting  to assist with travel.

This grant is open to financial members of the THANZ who are laboratory scientists and will be awarded to the author of the best abstract submitted to either the THANZ stream at Blood or the THANZ Scientific Workshop. Entrants must apply for the grant during abstract submission. The award, of up to AU$3,000, will be made in advance of the meetings to assist with registration to both events, travel and accommodation.

This grant is open to financial members of THANZ and will be awarded to the author of the best abstract in the bleeding disorders field submitted to either the THANZ stream at Blood or the THANZ Scientific Workshop. Entrants must apply for the grant during abstract submission. The award, of up to AU$2,000, will be made in advance of the meetings to assist with registration to both events, and travel and accommodation.

This grant is open to non-members who actively work in the area of T&H in a country in Asia which meets the criteria for the ISTH’s Reach the World program (https://www.isth.org/page/rtwcountries). The grant, of up to $4,000, will be awarded to the author of the highest-ranking abstract submitted to the T&H stream of Blood and will assist with registration, travel and accommodation. The recipient will also be invited to attend the THANZ Scientific Workshop.
